It's that time of year again when my staff suffers restless sleep as mice can be heard quietly munching on the wrong side of floorboards and in the cupboards.
A couple of weeks ago I cleaned out my garage and ruined many mouse houses in the process--one painstakingly appointed with a cache of seeds and lovely finely shredded fibre upholstery. I screamed when the mouse resident made a shocking appearance, but persisted in my relocation. Poor mouse. I had hantavirus worries, but I think the plausible incubation time has passed. Really though, Charlie, in exchange for your staff's devotion, and to give her peace of mind and restful sleep, I think you should feel a little obliged to take up mousing.
